Alz Care uses state-of-the-art technology
Dual stimulation therapy...
The device delivers near infrared light to stimulate the pre-frontal cortex region on the brain, the part of the brain involved with complex planning, cognitive behaviour, personality expression, decision making and moderating social behaviour.

Optimised light delivery...
Alz Care uses optimised light parameters for effective treatment, focusing on the 810nm wavelength, which has shown promising results in treating neurodegenerative conditions. This wavelength penetrates deeply, reaching brain tissue where it is absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase in mitochondria, boosting ATP production and supporting cellular repair.
Alz Care PBM also employs 40Hz pulsed light, which is believed to stimulate gamma waves in the brain. These are associated with memory and learning. By enhancing gamma wave activity, 40Hz pulsed light may boost neural connectivity and significantly improve cognitive functions.
Precise dosage control...
The LED power levels have been carefully chosen to deliver a safe amount of energy to the brain tissue, ensuring effective treatment while avoiding overstimulation. The LEDs are strategically positioned with specific beam angles to maximise coverage of the targeted brain area, enhancing light absorption and treatment efficacy.
With daily treatments of 30 minutes required, the device features a daily restriction limit to prevent over-stimulation.

Featuring a smart light sensor...
The device is equipped with a smart light sensor that ensures the LEDs remain inactive until the device is properly positioned. This feature not only guarantees that users receive the full benefits of the treatment but also addresses safety concerns by preventing exposure to the light source, thereby protecting the eyes from potential damage.
Using medical-grade materials...
Alz Care is manufactured using medical-grade materials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The device, along with its materials, has undergone rigorous biocompatibility testing, complying with European medical device standards. This thorough testing guarantees that the product is safe for long-term use, providing peace of mind to both healthcare professionals and users.
